| post op. Most people don't even leave the hospital for 6 or 7 days, so I am very grateful. After surgery, there were so many tubes and data connectors I was beginning to feel like a cyborg! This was pretty serious business. Both my parents died of defective heart valves so I knew this day of reckoning was unavoidable. It is one of the major thoracic surgeries; I say the degree of difficulty is equal to doing a plenum pull wearing boxing gloves. A good surgical team FTW. So far everything has been ahead of schedule and I am very encouraged for a complete recovery... which to a heart valve patient means feeling like he did twenty years ago. Thanks again to my TT.Net family. gordo
